SUMMARY:

Villa Linda is a spectacular three-level home that features 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and a spacious terrace – all of this a minute walk away from the beach and an assortment of beachside restaurants. Remodeled from top to bottom you will appreciate the clean and modern feel Villa Linda offers. You’ll love the fully equipped kitchen with counter space overlooking the dining area, living room and the large terrace with views of the professionally landscaped grounds. The Villa sleeps 6 in 1 king bed, 1 queen bed and a bunk bed that features full and twin beds, and a pull out twin bed. Villa Linda includes AC, TV, cable, internet, washer/dryer, beach chairs and a cooler. Villa Linda includes one parking space.

MAINTENANCE NOTE: The blackout curtains in 2 rooms are not working and are permanently shut. These will be replaced by September 7th. If you book prior to this date, you will not be able to rise the blackouts of these 2 rooms.Other than that, the villa is in excellent condition. 

This property is strictly for a maximum of 6 guests at any given time – this includes visitors.

IMPORTANT NOTE 1: THIS COMMUNITY REQUIRES THE GUEST TO PROVIDE A PICTURE ID, THE NAMES OF ALL THEIR GUESTS, AS WELL AS SENDING COPY OF NEGATIVE COVID-19 PCR TEST RESULT FOR ALL GUESTS. THIS MUST BE SENT TO US BY THE GUEST WITH NO LESS THAN 72 HOURS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL SO WE CAN PREPARE A DOCUMENT TO SEND TO THE ADMINISTRATION. 

IMPORTANT NOTE 2: THIS COMMUNITY IS VERY STRICT WITH REGARDS TO THEIR AMENITIES, NOISE, PARKING, ETC. FINES CAN AND WILL BE LEVIED IF RULES ARE BROKEN. FINES CAN BE AS HIGH AS $200 PER DAY. BY RESERVING THIS PROPERTY YOU ARE AGREEING TO PAY ANY FINE GIVEN TO US FOR THE DATES YOU WERE AT THE PROPERTY. 
 
IMPORTANT NOTE 3: ALL RESERVATIONS ARE CONTINGENT ON SIGNING A SEPARATE RENTAL AGREEMENT DETAILING ALL RULES, REGULATIONS, AND POSSIBLE FINES AT THIS COMMUNITY. 

 

COVID-19 NOTES:

1) PRE-ARRIVAL COVID TESTING: Travelers entering any of the Island’s three open airports are required to fill out a Travel Declaration Form through the Puerto Rico Health Department’s online portal, get a PCR molecular COVID-19 test (nasal or throat swab) no more than 72 hours prior to visiting the Island and show proof of a negative result.  These are strict government regulations and we encourage you to please visit the link below for the latest travel requirements to the island. 

 
 
2) POOL & COMMON AREAS: Some common areas in many communities around the island are still closed – or with limited capacity – due to COVID-19. This could include pools, tennis courts, and children parks. Please reach out to us prior to booking if you would like to know the status of common areas. 
 
3) MASKS: Masks are mandatory when in public and in all common areas. Please be ready to travel with and bring masks for your stay. 
 
4) CLEANING PROCEDURES: We have updated our cleaning procedures to include industry best practices in response to COVID-19. We are using disinfectant cleaning products on all surfaces and are programming a 24 hour gap between check-outs and check-ins. Our cleaning staff wears PPE during the entire cleaning and disinfecting process. 
 
 

LIVING AREAS:

The Villa has a contemporary open concept layout that connects the living room, dining, kitchen, and terrace. All the living areas are on the first floor of the Villa with abundant windows so you always have views of palm trees and landscaped grounds. There is a flat-screen TV with cable in the living room, AC and comfortable seating for 4 adults. There is a half bathroom on this level.

 

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS:

The master suite has 1 king bed with a fully renovated bathroom, closet and flat-screen TV for entertainment. It also has an office. The 2nd bedroom has 1 tastefully appointed queen bed, closet and a full bathroom that is shared with the 3rd bedroom. The 3rd bedroom has 1 bunk bed with a full and twin bed and an additional pull out twin bed. It also has closet space. All bedrooms have AC.

 

KITCHEN:

Villa Linda has a very modern, clean, fully stocked and recently remodeled comfortable kitchen. The 6-person dining table is conveniently located adjacent to the kitchen so cooking and dining can become one large social event. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, freezer, microwave oven, stovetop, coffee maker, and toaster.

 

LOCATION:

Villa Linda is located at Villas de Playa II within Dorado del Mar, a beautiful community in Dorado Puerto Rico that is well known for its gorgeous tropical grounds and beach access. Dorado del Mar is home for the Embassy Suites by Hilton. This is a safe and gated community that is great for families and anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing vacation. Villa Fontana is a 45-minute drive from San Juan and the Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport.

Besides enjoying the beautiful villa and all amenities on offer, there are many things to do in the surrounding areas, here are some of our favorites:

  1. Golf at the Dorado Beach Ritz Carlton resort. Tee times can be booked online.
  2. Explore the local culinary scene with everything from local Puerto Rican food to excellent Italian and Asian options.
  3. Road trip to the Cerro Gordo or Dorado public beaches. Both of these are long sandy beaches which are well protected from swell and are a 5-minute drive from the villa.
  4. Explore the Camuy Caves – a huge cave system about an hour drive away that is home to the third-longest underwater river in the world.
  5. Spend a day in Old San Juan, a 35 min drive away and the oldest city in all of the US.

 

GETTING AROUND:

Renting a car is a must when staying in Dorado. The property includes (1) assigned parking spot. You will need it to move around to nearby restaurants, shops, and beaches as well as to explore the rest of the island. 

 

AMENITIES:

West Indies strives to deliver top-notch service and amenities to guarantee our guests feel at home while visiting our properties. All of our properties are outfitted with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towels per guest. Our properties typically include at least 2 beach chairs, and an ice cooler.

West Indies provides the disposable amenities necessary to get your vacation off to a comfortable start. These amenities include 1 set of hotel size soaps and shampoos per bathroom, 3 garbage bags, 1 roll of paper towel, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 dish soap, 1 dish sponge, and a small amount of laundry detergent. We do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is your responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock with whatever else may be needed for the duration of your stay.

 

HOUSE RULES:

  • Check-in time is at 4:00 pm
  • Check-out time is at 11:00 am
  • NO SMOKING: Smoking is strictly prohibited. A smoking fee of $500 will be charged if violated.
  • NO PETS: No pets are allowed at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if violated and you will be expelled from the property.
  • Building quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please keep noise levels down during these hours out of respect to the neighbors.
  • Any pool pass lost will carry a $100 charge (per pass).
  • The host will not pay for a hotel, vacation rental, or transportation expenses incurred because of an interruption in water or electrical service.  If water or electricity is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests have the option of canceling their reservation and requesting a refund for the nights not used. Under no circumstances will we refund consumed nights.
  • All bookings are contingent on signing a short term rental agreement that will be sent via email. It must be signed within 48 hours of booking or before entering the property, whichever happens first.
  • Maximum occupancy of 6 adults/children at all times. This includes visitors. 
  • Max. occupancy is strictly enforced and exceeding it may result in immediate cancellation of booking or being expelled from the property.
  • Towels and linens must only be used for their intended purpose. Do not stain them with food, grease or any other substance. Do not use towels to clean up any mess. Stained towels/linens will be charged. 
  • Subletting not allowed
